Is Rydr available on iPhone?
The Android app is live on Google Play. The iPhone app is in build — tap "iOS — Join waitlist" above and we'll email you the App Store link the day it ships.
How is Rydr different from a regular ride-hailing app?
Every driver is verified with NIN (National Identification Number) before they can take a trip. Every ride has one-tap SOS, live trip sharing, and QR verification before boarding. The safety stack is the product — the ride is how we deliver it.
Where can I use Rydr?
In Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, and Abuja — in-city, plus the long-distance corridors between them (Lagos–Ibadan, Lagos–Abeokuta, Ibadan–Abuja, Lagos–Abuja).
What does a trip cost?
Fares are transparent on shared rides and rider-proposed on RydrX (solo). There is no surge pricing. Riders pay a 5% service fee on top of the agreed fare — drivers keep 100% of the fare itself.
How do I use the SOS button?
During any active trip, tap the red SOS button on the trip screen. Your emergency contact and local first responders are notified simultaneously with your live location — no phone calls required.
How do I delete my Rydr account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. See /support for the full walkthrough.
